Romain Massobre is a Counsel in the Litigation & Dispute Management department of Eversheds Sutherland in Paris.
Romain advises major global businesses on complex commercial disputes. Adept at securing the early and favorable resolution of cases, he represents our clients in amicable dispute resolution processes (conciliation, mediation). He also advises and represents clients in both emergency proceedings and ordinary civil litigation. In addition, Romain assists our clients on their responses to product incidents and associated product liability actions, supply chain disputes and the implementation of product recalls. His experience covers a broad range of business sectors, with a focus on Energy, Financial Services, and Industrials.
Romain is mentioned in legal directories with clients recognising him as "exceptional in his legal, strategic and technical approach to disputes" (Legal 500 EMEA 2023 – France, Dispute resolution: Commercial Litigation).
Romain is a member of the Association of Business Litigation Professionals.
Romain is serving on the firm’s pro-bono committee and he is involved in the firm’s strategic litigation efforts to represent unaccompanied migrant minors in obtaining a residence permit or asylum in France.
He also regularly lectures at the Paris Bar training school (EFB) as part of advanced training programmes in civil litigation.
Member of the Paris Bar, Romain holds a Master of Laws (LLM) from King’s College London, a DJCE from Université Lyon III and a postgraduate degree in International Tax Law from Université de Paris – Panthéon Assas.
