He is vastly experienced on European private credit transactions and has represented lenders on direct lending, special situations and capital solutions investments across every major European jurisdiction (together with the US, Canada, Israel and Australia), from the structuring & negotiation of the original financing, to ongoing incrementals and portfolio management, through to covenant resets, liability management scenarios and the full restructuring of transactions.
Ben also has considerable experience advising private equity sponsors, corporates and banks on leveraged finance facilities, together with experience advising on litigation funding and complex secondary transfers.
He is described as “exceptional”, “excellent” and “highly effective” by Chambers (2026) and “exceptional with long-standing credibility, expertise and knowledge of the market” by Legal 500 (2026).
