Marta Zając is an attorney-at-law in the M&A team at Eversheds Sutherland Poland.
She specializes in commercial law and M&A transactions. She also provides ongoing corporate services to companies, and advises in the area of civil law and commercial contracts.
Marta has many years of experience in advising Polish and foreign companies on the establishment, transformation and liquidation of business entities and in providing day-to-day advisory for foundations and associations.
She has worked on numerous M&A transactions, where she prepared transaction documentation. She participated in due diligence for asset deal and share deal transactions.
Before joining Eversheds Sutherland Poland, she worked at a number of leading Warsaw law firms.

- Advising a catering company on an internal reorganisation.
- Advising on a cross-border merger of capital companies.
- Participation in the process of a domestic merger of capital companies in order to consolidate a capital group of a leading food producer.
- Participation in due diligence analyses of entities e.g. in the construction ceramics and clothing sectors.
- Advising on internal reorganisation processes and on day-to-day operations of leading agricultural producers.
- Advising on the determination of real beneficiaries in domestic and foreign capital structures.
- Graduated in law from the University of Łódź
- Completed a number of postgraduate studies: Mergers and Acquisitions (Warsaw School of Economics), Academy of Companies (Warsaw School of Economics), School of New Technologies Law (IT/TMT) (H. Grotius Centre for Intellectual Property Rights) and Personal Data Protection (University of Łódź).
