The Government sees the apprenticeship system as a key part of its growth and skills agenda – announcing in December 2025 that it would invest £725 million to deliver more apprenticeships for young people and help match skills training with local job opportunities and the intention to create 50,000 more apprenticeships and foundation apprenticeships for young people over the next three years.
It is crucial that institutions participating in the apprenticeship system have a full understanding of the rules and documentation involved. This session will provide an overview of the key legal agreements entered into for an apprenticeship, key contractual terms and the relevant apprenticeship funding rules.
In this webinar we will explore:
The legal relationships between apprentice, employer, training provider and subcontractor, key contractual terms and what to do when things do wrong. We will also flag the latest changes that have taken place in the apprenticeship system and those which are on the horizon.
This webinar is aimed at those working in the education sector.
